Mechanical HVAC Estimator

Looking for a Mechanical HVAC Estimator to join our rapidly growing team. We appreciate you taking the time to review the list of qualifications and apply for the position. What You'll Do: Create accurate and profitable bids for commercial HVAC. Assess project requirements and build a comprehensive estimate of materials, equipment and labor. Prepare quotes by gathering information, evaluating plans and bid packages. Use blueprints to prepare a complete list of all job costs. Collaborate with Account Manager and contractors to determine HVAC system requirements. Negotiate with the GC, vendors and subcontractors on behalf of the organization. Calculate project budgets and submit competitive bids. Assist in project planning, submittal process and procurement of materials and equipment. Manage and prioritize multiple bidding assignments simultaneously, while reprioritizing work as needed ensuring deadlines are met. What You Bring: Knowledge of mechanical systems, duct layouts and controls. Experience in reading blueprints, technical drawings and bid packages. Proficiency in use of estimating software and tools. Attention to detail and accuracy in cost calculations. Strong analytical skills and effective communication skills. Experience in estimating within the HVAC industry for both mechanical and duct installation projects. Why Join Us?
