U.S. citizenship is required for this position due to government contract requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design and develop sophisticated AI software applications, ensuring exceptional scalability, performance, and seamless integration with enterprise systems. Develop and modify systems software necessary for operating and controlling hardware and enabling a platform for internal business applications. Create and communicate advanced algorithms covering descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive models. Utilize expertise in experimental methodologies, statistics, optimization, and machine learning to construct tools for statistical analysis and modeling. Lead technical implementation efforts, translating complex algorithms and specifications into operational code while mentoring junior engineers and steering team development practices. Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Promote and advocate for the responsible application of AI, ML, and data science solutions throughout the enterprise, customizing tools and workflows to deliver effective solutions. Contribute to, curate, and endorse playbooks, best practices, lessons learned, and the firm’s intellectual capital. Support initiatives aimed at creating impactful solutions leveraging AI technologies like Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, LLMs, and classical machine learning. Remain up-to-date with AI technology advancements, evaluating their relevance in production and operational contexts. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 7+ years of applicable experience, or a combination of education and experience. Proficient in programming (primarily Python), software engineering, DevOps, and contemporary methodologies. Experience in API programming, Linux, and Machine Learning. Over 3 years in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. A minimum of 7 years in software development and over 4 years with cloud solutions. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Experience working as an individual contributor in AI. Innovative application of cutting-edge technology to resolve operational challenges in AI and Machine Learning. In-depth knowledge of data structures, software engineering principles, and cloud computing infrastructures (both on-premise and cloud). Able to design custom solutions within AI and Advanced Analytics catered to customer requirements. Skilled in creating reference implementations for operational AI processing solutions. Familiarity with multiple programming languages, including Python/Java, and frontend frameworks for demos and dashboards. Experience in program automation, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Agile methodologies. Understanding of deep learning model architectures and their applications. Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) are a plus. 5+ years of relevant experience in AI, advanced analytics, or software development, particularly using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Pandas.
