Skill - SAP FICO SME Location - Santa Clara (CA) 5 days Office. Job Description: Act as the Subject Matter Expert in the record to report, Treasury, and procure to pay areas to identify opportunities and translate business need into to technology solutions Provide the necessary technical guidance to business to support the growing needs within the finance and accounting domain Own and drive complex SAP technical solutions aligning with our overall business strategy Closely work with the development team to provide functional specifications, configure and implement the solution as per the business requirements Build and maintain great relationships within and outside the IT organization Work closely with cross-functional IT teams, and business users to design and implement solutions that are flexible and scalable while meeting the business needs in a timely manner. Handle multiple initiatives in parallel and be flexible in approach to solving problems anticipating the needs of customers and business partners Work closely as needed with the SAP AMS team in order to quickly resolve critical operational issues that impact business functions. Must have 10+ years of experience as an SAP functional FICO expert, supporting Financial accounting, Procure to Pay, Treasury In-depth understanding of S4 HANA, finance and accounting business processes (Treasury, tax, R2R), and SAP Cloud service models Excellent understanding of GAAP principles and internal and external reporting for a public company Strong SAP FICO knowledge with experience of working in FI-MM, and FI-SD integrations Understanding of treasury functionality related to bank reporting, in house cash management, bank connectivity strategies (e.g., SWIFT, multibank reporting) Experience with integrating SAP with external financial institutions for outgoing payments, and incoming cash reconciliation, lock box, and automatic bank statement processing Experience in standard SAP tax configuration and its integration to Sales and Distribution and Materials Management, Ariba and invoice registration with eDocument Working knowledge of Sales and Use Tax, GST/VAT and withholding laws globally Working experience with OneSource or other tax applications is strongly preferred At least two full life cycle implementation (green field or brown field) experience with Fiori and SAP cloud applications Must be capable of working independently with all levels of people in the organization and have a high degree of multi-tasking capabilities Work experience in ARIBA, Treasury, Workiva, and Concur is preferred Experience with BIG 5 consulting firms in building strategic roadmaps for businesses is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate up to senior leadership and cross functional teams, translate business needs to technical teams, and articulate technical solutions to business Self-starter with sharp decision-making skills, ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritize in a fast-paced and changing environment. Education Bachelor's/Master's degree in information technology or Computer Science CPA or equivalent (Charted Accountancy) is preferred
