Full-Time Dental Hygienist

Job Type: Full-Time Location: LaGrange, Illinois Work Type: W2, Permanent Starting Pay and/or Pay Range: $45 - $50 per hour Job Summary: Join the compassionate team at Cameo Dental Specialists as a dedicated Dental Hygienist! In this full-time role, you will provide exceptional preventive dental care while educating patients about oral hygiene. Your clinical expertise will contribute significantly to improving long-term oral health within our community. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planing as necessary. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) efficiently. Perform oral health assessments and accurately chart conditions of teeth and gums. Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care. Administer sealants and fluoride treatments as needed. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure sterilization of instruments following all infection control protocols. Assist the dentist during examinations and various procedures when required. Maintain thorough digital documentation of patient care and treatment plans. Manage hygiene supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-stocked and in working order. Adhere to all HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards. Undertake additional responsibilities to enhance patient care and overall clinic operations. Required Qualifications: Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of Illinois. Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program. Preferred Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A gentle and compassionate chairside manner. Proficiency with dental software and digital charting systems. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality care. Familiarity with common dental procedures and effective patient education techniques.
