This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, working from the office in Doral (and more during Latin GRAMMY season). WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR The Latin Recording Academy is seeking an experienced Social Media Coordinator to support the daily execution of our digital and social media strategy. You will create and manage original content across our digital platforms in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and assist with special projects as needed in partnership with the Director, Social Media. WHAT YOU'LL DOSupport and coordinate the daily execution of the Latin Recording Academy's digital and social media strategy as defined by the Director. Create and manage original social media content in Spanish and English and coordinate translations into Portuguese when needed, following the Latin Recording Academy's digital and brand guidelines, for platforms including X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and others. Own and maintain the editorial content calendar, ensuring accurate scheduling, timely publishing, and alignment with campaigns with our sales team and key initiatives. Write, review, and edit social media copy to ensure high quality, consistency in messaging, and alignment with the Latin Recording Academy's voice and style. Coordinate with external agencies and internal teams to ensure the timely delivery of creative assets and the proper execution of digital campaigns. Curate and adapt relevant content for each platform, tailored to the audience, format, and objectives. Support video and multimedia projects such as interviews, live streams, and special event coverage in coordination with the Video and Marketing Team. Publish and distribute daily content across all Latin Recording Academy social media platforms, ensuring accuracy and quality control. Research and stay up-to-date on social media trends, tools, language, and memes, focusing on efficiency and audience engagement. Travel nationally and internationally as needed to support digital coverage of key events. SKILLS & EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in digital content creation and social media management. Experience working in music, entertainment, or media industries with knowledge of Latin music. Must be bilingual in Spanish/English. Portuguese a plus. Excellent copywriting and editing skills with experience creating content for digital platforms and maintaining brand voice. Experience supporting live event coverage or live-streaming projects. Solid knowledge of major social media platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). Ability to work under tight deadlines with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. A professional and proactive mindset with strong time management and prioritization skills. Availability and willingness to work non-traditional hours and travel as needed. SALARY AND BENEFITS The starting hourly rate for this position is $24.85 to $26.95 per hour, benchmarked against industry standards. Rates for positions required to be in specific geographic locations reflect the corresponding labor market. The actual offer extended will depend on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and the role's requirements.
