CT Technologist Location: Oswego, NY 13126 Job Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (Tuesday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM) Hours per Week: 40 Hours Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements Job Summary We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate imaging results. The technologist will operate CT equipment, prepare patients for procedures, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support diagnostic and treatment processes. Equipment CT Scanner: Siemens Somatom Perspective Requirements Associate's Degree or higher preferred Valid New York State license to practice Diagnostic Radiography Valid New York State license to inject contrast material preferred (must be obtained within 90 days of hire) Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required Knowledge and Skills Knowledge of CT and radiologic standards, requirements, and regulations Knowledge of radiologic safety, cleanliness, and infection control policies Knowledge of CT and radiologic equipment operation and maintenance Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in computer use and electronic medical record systems Ability to maintain patient, team member, and employer confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Customer service oriented with the ability to provide a friendly and supportive experience for patients Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy Ability to adapt to changing work environments and responsibilities Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment Ability to work effectively under pressure and complete tasks in stressful situations
