Technical Specialist Onsite Description: Diversified Systems is searching for a Technical Specialist to be the primary Salesforce resource, dedicated to triaging, analyzing, and resolving the Service Now tickets that support the in-house Salesforce applications utilized across the agency. This resource is responsible for any Configuration changes, building dashboards, and reports. Role also includes collaborating with internal stakeholders and team members in identifying & trouble shooting solutions that are used across the agency. This position functions as a member of the Medicaid ITS Team, reports to the ITS Manager, and works with ITS Development teams. Responsibilities: Monitor and support current Salesforce applications and any new applications being developed. Manage users, including new user setup and deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, and public groups. Perform configuration changes using Flow Builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports. Work with business teams to understand processes and translate needs into actionable Salesforce requirements. Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, deployment to sandboxes, post-production solutions, and user support. Develop and create customized reports and dashboards. Manage user testing activities, including developing test plans and creating user test cases. Create and maintain documentation and training materials covering processes, policies, configurations, and user guides. Perform proactive system maintenance, including security reviews, release updates, and health checks. Apply Salesforce.com best practices related to release management. Maintain, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Salesforce platform. Maintain, enhance, and create workflows, flows, and other functions and configurations within the Salesforce environment. Maintain and manage Salesforce Experience Cloud. Proactively identify and recommend necessary system changes. Communicate system changes to users in advance to ensure understanding prior to implementation. Develop advanced-level customized reports and dashboards and respond to ad hoc reporting requests. Work with leadership and stakeholders to evaluate Salesforce and related technologies, tools, and approaches to improve operational efficiency and enhance customer experience. Create project documentation, including user interface guides, training materials, functional documentation, and change requests. Perform thorough unit testing of development deliverables and participate in business user acceptance testing. Validate test cases and results against documented requirements. Develop complex, macro-driven reports to summarize system information for senior management. Follow Salesforce report-building best practices to avoid configurations that negatively impact performance as data volumes increase. Assist with migration from legacy systems and processes into Salesforce. Import data using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader. Log, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues. Monitor and manage exception logs for backend system integrations with Salesforce. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, required. 5-6 years of experience in Information Systems operations, including analysis, design, and development, required. 4 years of professional experience developing and administering applications on Salesforce platform technologies (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud), required. 4 years of experience building and managing Salesforce Experience Cloud, required. 4 years of experience in Salesforce design, analysis, configuration, customization, and reporting, required. 4 years of experience with Salesforce data models and data migration, required. 3 years of experience using Salesforce tools such as Data Loader, OneSpan, and Nintex DocGen, required. 3 years of experience working with SCRUM/Agile development practices, required. Salesforce Developer or Salesforce Administrator certification, highly desired. Familiarity with Salesforce tools such as Flosum, OneSpan, Nintex DocGen, and OwnBackup, highly desired. 1 year of solid salesforce.com skills, experience setting up Salesforce Communities and ideally, understand the general concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Proficient in web services API integrations (REST & SOAP) with internal and third-party systems. Strong reporting background using Salesforce standard reporting tools and functionality. Ability to propose, document, and implement software project lifecycle solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Excellent customer service orientation for direct end-user support. Salesforce Developer or Administrator certification preferred. Strong communication skills to provide clear and effective support to end users. Required excellent written and oral communication skills with technical and business teams. Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Stay abreast of current technologies in area of IT assigned. Establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Recognize patterns and opportunities for improvement throughout the entire organization. Ability to discern critical from minor problems and innovate new solutions.
