This position follows a 260-day work calendar. The District offers a comprehensive benefits package. Position Summary The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout the District. This position ensures that all HVAC systems operate efficiently and safely to provide a comfortable learning and working environment for students and staff. Qualifications for the Position High school diploma or equivalent required Technical or trade school certification in HVAC is preferred Valid HVAC certification and/or EPA Universal Certification required Minimum of three years of HVAC experience preferred Valid driver's license with a good driving record Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, building automation systems, and preventative maintenance practices Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as required Strong communication and teamwork skills Essential Job Functions Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems and related equipment Perform preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete necessary repairs Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Ensure compliance with safety regulations and district policies Assist with emergency repairs as needed Collaborate with maintenance and facilities staff on district projects Perform other duties as assigned Application Process Please submit an online application at along with: A letter of interest A current resume outlining qualifications and relevant experience All applicants must apply online.
