POSITION SUMMARY SeaBreeze Vacation is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in Holmes Beach, FL. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys solving problems independently, and takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs across our portfolio of vacation rental properties. You'll be the go-to expert for everything from plumbing and electrical work to smart home technology and WiFi troubleshooting, ensuring our guests enjoy seamless, comfortable stays. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform general maintenance and repairs across vacation rental properties Diagnose and repair plumbing issues (leaks, toilets, faucets, clogs, water heaters) Complete basic to intermediate electrical work (outlets, switches, fixtures, circuit breakers, GFCIs) Handle carpentry and handyman repairs (doors, trim, drywall, cabinets, furniture) Troubleshoot and maintain internet/WiFi systems, routers, modems, and mesh networks Install, program, and service access control systems (smart locks, keypads, garage openers) Maintain and troubleshoot smart home devices (thermostats, TVs, streaming systems) Use tablets, smartphones, and maintenance apps/software to receive work orders, document repairs, and communicate status updates Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests, including after-hours calls during on-call rotation Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance Maintain organized tools, supplies, and company vehicle Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local codes Experience with the Breezeway app is a plus QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of experience in maintenance, facilities, handyman services, or related fields Strong working knowledge of: Plumbing Electrical Carpentry and general repairs Internet/WiFi and basic networking Experience with smart locks, access control, or smart home technology Comfortable using mobile devices, tablets, and maintenance software/apps Excellent face-to-face customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties/tasks Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in indoor and outdoor environments COMPENSATION & BENEFITSHourly Rate: $30- $35 depending on experience.
