Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Fairport, NY

A Per Diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available to provide critical support during a 2-week coverage period in the Rochester, New York area. This role requires a detail-oriented individual skilled in pharmacy operations with a commitment to accuracy and excellent customer service. Location: Fairport, NY (Rochester area) Job Type: Per Diem Term of Assignment: March 17, 2026 - April 3, 2026 Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (potential shift change to 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM) Responsibilities: Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the computer system. Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions efficiently and safely. Manage and replenish over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate pharmacy stock levels. Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing patient needs and concerns. Liaise with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate prescription processing. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a pharmacy technician. Preference given to candidates with retail or 340B pharmacy experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced pharmacy setting.
