In this role, you'll help keep high-tech production equipment operating at peak performance, support ongoing process improvements, and contribute to a modern, innovative facility. What You'll Do as an Automated Equipment Technician: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on machinery and systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues Collaborate with the Plant Manager and Manufacturing Engineer on process improvements and new method development Maintain and repair production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime Modify, fabricate, and develop components for production equipment Support facility-related maintenance tasks as needed What You Need to Bring to the Automated Equipment Technician Role: 2-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Technologies, or a related field is preferred 3-5 years of relevant experience within automation or machine maintenance Experience working in a manufacturing facility Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting experience (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic) Strong communication and collaboration skills; self-motivated work style Experience fabricating, modifying, and improving production equipment Reliable transportation to New Hope, MN Ability to meet any pre-employment screening requirements #metrocareers Why You'll Like Working Here: Our client company offers a well-rounded, employee-focused benefits package designed to support balance, financial security, and overall wellbeing.
