Radiological (X-Ray) Technologist - Fremont, Ohio

This opportunity is for an experienced Multi-Modality Technologist specializing in two imaging modalities, such as CT and X-ray, within a hospital setting. The role focuses on performing diagnostic imaging procedures that aid licensed practitioners in patient diagnosis and care. The position operates on a 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. schedule, with every fourth weekend and every other holiday worked, including 7 p.m. holiday starts. Key Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Tech experience and 2 years of hospital-based CT experience required Certification with ARRT and Ohio state licensure preferred; BLS and CT registry highly desirable Proficiency with GE CT and X-ray equipment and experience with emergency department patients Prior travel experience is advantageous but not mandatory Must be competent in two imaging modalities, with certification obtained within 12 months if not already held Ability to perform venipuncture, administer contrast media, and operate power injectors following safety protocols Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in two modalities per approved protocols and patient needs Obtain and verify patient clinical history and lab results using point-of-care devices Apply radiation safety measures and patient identification practices rigorously Administer medications and contrast agents safely and monitor patient reactions Maintain documentation and operate relevant systems such as PACS, RIS, and EPIC EHR Participate in on-call rotations as required Work Conditions and Physical Requirements: Expect variable workloads, possible exposure to challenging environments and patient behaviors Physical demands include frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking for extended periods Location: Fremont, OH Fremont offers a community-focused lifestyle with access to quality healthcare facilities and nearby natural attractions.
