Telemetry Registered Nurse - Wapakoneta, Ohio

A registered nurse (RN) with telemetry experience is needed for a contract position in a stepdown care unit specializing in general medical-surgical, telemetry, and renal care. This role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients, with a strong focus on telemetry monitoring, including dysrhythmia interpretation every 4 hours via electronic health records. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of nursing experience, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications. This unit features 28 beds and manages complex patient needs, including care for those with multi-system organ failure and trauma. Preferred skills include experience with Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD), managing drips such as Cardizem, Nitro, and Heparin, and knowledge of advanced respiratory devices like tracheostomies, BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula. Nurses will work 12-hour evening shifts, averaging every other weekend and holiday off. Travel experience is not required; local candidates will not be accepted.
