Join a dynamic healthcare team in Howell, MI, as a CT Technologist specializing in radiologic imaging. This contract opportunity involves performing advanced computed tomography (CT) procedures, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and assisting radiologists during invasive procedures. Coverage includes after-hours, weekends, and holidays. Key Responsibilities: Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and post-processing equipment to produce precise cross-sectional images. Position patients accurately and adjust protocols to match individual patient needs. Perform general radiography exams as needed, maintaining repeat rates at or below national standards. Communicate procedures and delays effectively to ensure patient comfort. Acquire complete patient histories and confer with radiologists regarding care and imaging protocols. Assist with invasive procedures such as biopsies and abscess drainages. Maintain knowledge of diagnostic imaging terminology, front desk, and file room procedures. Uphold positive patient identification and age-specific care guidelines. Desired Qualifications: Experience as a Radiology Technologist with specialization in computed tomography. Ability to operate and adjust CT imaging equipment confidently. Strong communication skills for patient interaction and multidisciplinary collaboration. Familiarity with diagnostic imaging protocols and patient care standards. Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) preferred.
