Job role: Solumina Business Solution Consultant Location (Onsite/Offshore) City: Onsite , Huston, TX, USA Experience (# of years): 5 Years JD: Solumina Business Solution Consultant Profile Role Summary: Role Summary: The Business Solution Consultant (BSC) plays a pivotal role in fostering customer engagement and ensuring alignment with iBase-t's Solumina software and industry best practices. This involves conducting workshops to effectively demonstrate and train customers on the software's features, as well as facilitating business process reengineering and mapping sessions. The BSC actively contributes to the setup of software functionality and employs expertise in designing software configurations and introducing new functionalities. Additionally, the BSC is responsible for the development and execution of functional testing protocols, utilizing troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address customer challenges effectively. Serving as a change agent, the BSC collaborates with both iBase-t and customers to streamline work processes, fostering positive change in accordance with industry best practices. This multifaceted role requires a comprehensive understanding of software dynamics, coupled with the ability to drive transformative change within organizational workflows. Role Pre-Requisites: Possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, business information systems, engineering, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Demonstrated proficiency with at least 5 years of experience in enterprise software implementation, particularly in projects involving MES, MRO, ERP, EAM, or PLM. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, enabling the evaluation of complex situations and the delivery of effective solutions. Capacity to work efficiently within specified deadlines, recognizing the significance of milestone achievement. Exceptional written, presentation, and listening skills. Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills, facilitating the guidance of stakeholders and the establishment of consensus toward shared goals. Exhibit qualities of a team player, with adaptability, personal accountability, trustworthiness, ethical judgment, and behavior. Proficiency in organizational, remote work, and time management skills. Previous involvement in software, database, or systems interface development. Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities. A sound understanding of IT systems and applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Outstanding troubleshooting, problem-solving, attention to detail, and data analysis skills. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, effectively communicate ideas, lead team efforts, and employ flexibility and creativity to present a variety of solutions. Preferred Experience: Substantial industry expertise in Aerospace MRO (maintenance, repair overhaul), demonstrating a robust understanding of shop floor planning and execution. Proficiency in Agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies, coupled with familiarity with Lean process realignment strategies. Experience using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Wiki, Test Rail, and Zendesk. Possession of a professional certification in business analysis, such as IIBA-CBAP, AAC; PMI-PBA, or an equivalent qualification. Demonstrated functional expertise in iBASE-t Solumina software and its associated extension products.
