Node Developer

Position 2: Job Title: Node Developer (Should be in Node Title) Job Location: HArtford, CT (Hybrid) Job Type: Contract to Hire / Full Time Skills Required: Node, API, AWS Job Requirements: The role involves designing, building, and maintaining server-side applications and services using the Node.js runtime environment. This role requires a deep understanding of JavaScript, asynchronous programming, and server-side development. Key Responsibilities: • Design and implement server-side applications using Node.js and related frameworks. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand project requirements. • Develop high-performance and scalable APIs, micro-services, and backend systems. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices. • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. • Debug and resolve complex technical issues and bugs. • Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Node.js development. • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers. • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards. • Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and maintain production environments. • Perform thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing. • Continuously improve development processes and tools to enhance team productivity. Qualifications & Experience: • Must have basic understanding of Pub Sub e.g., RabbitMQ or Kafka • Strong SQL skills. • Must have experience in Mongo DB. • Must have Containerization & AWS Basics knowledge • Familiarity with data modeling and database design. • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • At least 5-7 years of Experience with Micro-service development • 3+ years of experience with Node JS API development
