Job Description Under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director/manager, the Respiratory Care Practitioner I (RCP I) is responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Emphasis will be on the assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care, with consideration of age and population-specific needs and requirements of the patient. In the absence of a supervisor, the RCP I may be assigned as Lead RCP, having responsibility for the section or department during their shift. ResponsibilitiesPerform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures per physician orders. Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care with age and population-specific considerations. Act as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor, overseeing departmental functions. Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureValid license/certificate, verification required upon onboarding. Completion of COVID-19 vaccine requirement and additional immunizations as listed.
