Capital Project Manager

Details: Project Manager Client: Chemical Plant Location: Alvin, TX Duration: long term, ongoing Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, PTO Schedule: 9/80 (off every other Friday) The role of the Project Manager is to drive projects through completion through a hands-on approach by reacting quickly to issues, Internal/External Interface Management, developing strategies to mitigate risks, innovating execution solutions, identifying/resolving resource issue and liaising with Site Manager to secure any additional resource issues to push the project forward. The role is accountable for the scope management, cost and schedule associated with the assigned area of focus aligned with the overall strategy of the Site Manager. The Project Manager may also be responsible for delivering solutions that bring value to the business beyond the Project Manager's assigned area of focus. The Project Manager functionally reports to the Site Manager. Skills & Knowledge Required BS Degree in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in Petro-chemical, refining or manufacturing. 5+ years of direct experience as a project engineer and/or project manager.
