Pay rate: No housing - Local: $37/hr With housing (50+ miles away from permanent): $28/hr Housing stipend: $12/hr (taxable) + $1080 (tax-free) $1560/40hrs (12/27) Over 40hrs=$37/hr base $55.50/hr OT (Must be 50+miles from facility to taxable address to qualify for housing or housing stipend pay) Responsibility • CNA works under the supervision of nurses to deliver high-quality care to patients. • Assist patients with their basic needs and ADL's • Answer calls for help and observes changes in a patient's condition or behavior • Check and record vital signs; measure height and weight; measure intake and output; collect specimens; test urine. • Observe patient response to care, report and record observations of patient's conditions. • Check and pass food trays; feed patients; provide fresh drinking water and nourishments; assist with bedpans, urinals, and commodes; empty urine collection bags; assist with colostomy care • Turn and position patients; provide range of motion exercises; transfer patients to wheelchair/stretcher; assist with ambulation. • Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality. Requirements: • Resume - with a minimum of 6 months of long-term care experience • C.N.A- PA license (in good standing) • Current - BLS/CPR • 2- current references (supervisors) • 2- step PPD/TB QuantiFERON (within the last 6 months) • 1 more TB test prior to getting the Services. ( Within the 30 Days Period ) • Agency Questionnaire - Southwestern Veterans Center • COVID screening and testing consent form • COVID Vaccination documentation • COVID Declination • Free from Communicable Disease • Fingerprint Letters - Required • IT Resource user agreement form • Current physical (within the last 12 months • MMR, Varicella, Hep B- Vaccination or declined • PA- Police - criminal background check • Must be able to pass background/urine drug screen (Within the last 6 Months) If you meet the above requirements, please forward your resume to this job posting.
