Overview This Hybrid Cloud Engineer role is part of a highly skilled team responsible for the growth, maintenance, and enhancement of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions across Linux and Windows platforms-in both cloud and onpremises environments. The position will provide Level 3 support for complex systems and applications and will partner with product and operations teams to design and implement automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments. Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and enhance automation for provisioning and managing infrastructure, operating systems, and middleware components. Design, engineer, and maintain highly complex and secure cloud environments in Oracle Cloud (OCI) and Azure. Support complex systems and applications, including installation, optimization, upgrades, migrations, and long-term performance improvements. Serve as part of the Systems Administration team to provide installation, integration, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, security, and optimization of IT systems and components. Utilize tools and mechanisms to distribute software updates and ensure customers receive current and supported versions. Collaborate with senior staff to recommend and design system architecture and topology. Participate in an on-call rotation for highlevel technical support. Demonstrate strong competencies in: Collaboration & Influencing Learning Agility Driving Results Customer Impact Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience preferred. 6+ years of progressive experience in engineering, systems design, and documentation. Experience supporting large environments of Linux and Windows servers across Bare Metal, ESX, and Cloud platforms. Deep understanding of Windows/Linux fundamentals, including log analysis, debugging tools, and network packet capture for rootcause analysis. Hands-on experience with VMware ESX/ESXi/vCenter, including vSwitches, port groups, NIC teaming, bonding, VLANs, and virtual networking. Experience with public cloud platforms and virtualization technologies, including: IaaS, PaaS Kubernetes, Docker, Vagrant Azure & OCI (preferred) Strong experience with automation and configuration management tools: Infrastructure as Code (Chef, Terraform, Jenkins) Deployment tools (PXE Kickstart, Windows SCCM) Scripting languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, PowerShell preferred) Experience in warehouse or manufacturing automation is a plus, including PLC, conveyance systems, Warehouse Control Systems (WCS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and realtime systems. Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, New Relic, and streaming services like Kafka.
