The South Carolina Office of Resilience is seeking a hardworking and dependable candidate just like you to apply! The South Carolina Office of Resilience (SCOR) pursues and administers grants from a variety of funding opportunities. Stakeholders include state agency partners, regional and local government agencies, non-profit organizations, community groups, private sector, academia, and other groups. The job duties of the Program Coordinator include but are not limited to the following: Support SCOR's grants program by researching grants, engaging with stakeholders to identify needs and priorities, assisting with grant writing and grant administration, and serving as a liaison between stakeholders and SCOR. Support SCOR's activities funded through the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Climate Pollution Reduction Grant (CPRG) program. These responsibilities include coordinating stakeholder engagement activities and communications, developing communication materials (for example, program website, PowerPoint presentations, fact sheets, newsletter articles); supporting the development of the required CPRG deliverables (for example through data collection, data analysis, and writing and editing report content); and assisting with the administration of the CPRG award, to include writing quarterly reports and tracking progress toward meeting EPA CPRG requirements. Performs other duties as assigned/needed. Minimum and Additional RequirementsA bachelor's degree and relevant program experience. Program coordination. communications, stakeholder engagement, grant coordination, or research experience. Fluency in computer and communications technologies, including Microsoft Office programs. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with diverse agencies, organizations, communities and other stakeholder groups. Excellent organizational, listening, written communications, and verbal communications skills. Background in environmental studies, environmental science, and/ or related fields (for example, geography, natural resources, planning). Ability to conduct business in a manner consistent with SCOR's mission, policies, and core values. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
