Responsibilities Cardiac cath lab with 6 suites serving adult patients in an acute care hospital Average caseload of 25-30 cases per day including left and right heart caths, complex PCI, Impella, IABP, electrophysiology, and structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman) Exposure to interventional radiology and hybrid vascular cases Uses EPIC for charting, with equipment including MACLAB, PYXIS, GE Imaging, CARTO, and Abbott EP Day shift position, 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM On-call requirement averages 1-2 call days per week and one weekend per month, with a 30-minute response time Holiday coverage is on-call only Floating only required for emergency response Hospital-issued surgical attire is provided Main duties include assisting with complex interventional, electrophysiology, and structural heart cases in a high-volume, multimodality cath lab Works as part of a collaborative team with 14 techs, 7 RNs, and 1 lead charge nurse Pre/post-procedure monitoring and ultrasound IV starts are managed by specialized teams Acute and critical care patients possible during procedures 24/7 cardiologist, pharmacy, and respiratory therapy support First-time travelers are welcome and supported by an experienced team New, modern facility opened in December 2020 Short orientation period of less than one week for competent technologists Requirements Minimum of 2 years recent cath lab technologist experience Active ARRT or RCIS (CCI) certification required Current BLS and ACLS certification required Washington DOH CVIS or RT license required Radiation badge required prior to assignment (facility does not provide) Experience with EPIC charting, MACLAB, and GE equipment preferred Active state or compact licensure required; license required if applicable Pending licenses or certifications not accepted Copy of driver's license required for consideration Two recent professional references required: one supervisor from past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from last 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-672664.
