As a Licensing Specialist the Shepherd family, you are responsible for administering carrier logins and assist in agency licensing process. You will also provide direct support in the agency acquisition process. This will include monitoring agency licensing contracts and carrier login information. In addition, you will provide general administration duties and agency management system technical assistance. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide positive, prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients and carrier contacts. • Maintain carrier contact list with active carrier contacts, but also prior acquisition contacts. • Assist with accounting duties including but not limited to pulling commission statements associated with carrier and licensing contracts in line with current employees and acquired employees. • Manage and organize digital documentation and data input into various agency systems to ensure consistency across platforms. • Maintain consistent communication with agency appointed carriers and licensing service. • Assist with acquisition processes including but not limited to carrier notifications as needed. • Assist with carrier login maintenance. • Maintain download reports and administer updates as needed with ongoing clean up in download systems. • Retrieve logins and emergency access and licensing program set up for users across agency platform. • Administer updates in licensing and carrier systems including name and address changes. • Administer set up in Lexis Nexis. • Administer new contracts as well as contract updates. • Maintain up to date information on licensing appointments paperwork with various agency appointed carriers. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements • Experience: At least two (2) years' experience in similar position is desirable. • Education requirement: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. • Ability to work collectively with the administrative team associates. • Familiar in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), agency & document managing system.
