Senior Test Automation Specialist Overview Join our dynamic and forward-thinking team as a Senior Test Automation Specialist, where you will take a leading role in advancing our QA processes by incorporating state-of-the-art automation technologies and AI-driven solutions. This position requires not only technical expertise but also strong mentorship capabilities and strategic insight, enabling our QA team to transition from traditional manual testing to comprehensive automation across various platforms and cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Automation Engineering & Innovation Design, develop, and maintain resilient test automation frameworks using modern tools like Microsoft Playwright, Postman, and Selenium, along with the latest technologies. Seamlessly integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines to promote early defect detection through a shift-left testing approach. Explore and implement AI-driven testing solutions and next-generation automation tools to boost test coverage and efficiency. Ensure robust automation across various cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure) and multiple application stacks. Coaching, Mentorship & Team Enablement Mentor and train manual QA engineers, guiding their evolution into proficient automation engineers through organized training, workshops, and hands-on support. Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence within the QA team. Conduct code reviews, share best practices, and maintain high standards of automation quality. Quality Strategy & Reporting Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy that includes functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for both backend and frontend systems. Create detailed automation reports for executives, emphasizing key metrics such as coverage, defect leakage, and ROI. Leverage data-driven insights to enhance testing efficiency and elevate overall product quality. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to embed quality throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Lead QA initiatives during release cycles, ensuring all deployments meet readiness standards and production stability. Collaborate in crafting testing strategies for cloud-native applications, containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven architectures. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Over 8 years of experience in software QA automation with extensive knowledge of tools like Playwright, Postman, Selenium. Strong technical background in Java/Spring Boot, .NET/C#, and Node.js. Familiarity with current frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js). Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure). Exposure to performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Locust, Gatling). Experience with AI-driven testing, serverless architectures, and message queue systems.
