This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional manufacturing environment.What You'll Be Doing Performing sample inspections and measurements of incoming partsProcessing non-confirming materials for testing or dispositionPerforming First Article Inspections (FAIs) of new parts and/or parts from new suppliersCompleting internal audits and associated documentationInterpreting engineering prints and schematicsSupporting safety and quality initiatives such as 5S, ESD, FOD, and ISOAssisting in the Material Review Board processMaintaining information systemsPreparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data; making recommendationsReviewing, analyzing, and reporting on quality discrepancies and Carnegie Robotics quality goals What You'll Have A four year technical degree (preferred) or a two year technical degree (required)Experience with precisions instrumentation and complex electromechanical systemsExcellent interpersonal and organizational skillsComfort in a fast-changing, cross-functional team environmentHigh standards of accuracy, rigor, and timelinessProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to lift more than 40 pounds Carnegie Robotics is an Equal Opportunity Employer that welcomes applications from all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable laws and Carnegie Robotics' employment policies.
