Scheurer Primary Care - Bad AxeAdvanced Practitioner Casual Weekend Coverage - Walkin Clinic Scheurer is seeking a casual Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to work at our Scheurer Primary Care-Bad Axe location. The Advanced Practitioner will be responsible for: Examining and treating patients independently and in autonomous collaboration with other health care professionals. Ensures proper illness diagnosis and injury care is administered, as well as disease prevention, education, and recovery. Prescribes medications to patients as indicated. Working with the supervising practitioner and clinic staff Coordinates the care of patients and facilitates efficient and effective movement through the health care system. Proficient use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Job Requirements: Individual will be a graduate of an accredited program. Certified by a national board examination and licensed in the State of Michigan. Must hold both a BLS and ACLS certification. Must be eligible or have obtained a DEA number for prescriptive authority in Michigan.
