Follow the BIP (the behavior intervention plan) of students in special education.- Collect, record, and summarize data of observable behaviors.- Interact and intervene directly with students who may be experiencing behavioralstruggles.- Communicate with school staff and families regularly regarding student's progress orneeds.- Maintain students' confidentiality.- Assist the BCBA with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments.- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.- Support students with behavioral needs in the educational environment to fosterlearning.WORKING CONDITIONS:- Maintain emotional control under stress.- Daily attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of the job.- Regular District-wide travel to multiple work locations as assigned; frequent standing,stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, heavy lifting, and moderate carrying.- May be required to lift and transfer students to and from wheelchairs or assist withpositioning students with physical disabilities.- Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment- Strong family engagement and communication COMPENSATION:- Competitive regional market salary for RBTs- Health benefits package availableAPPLICATION PROCESS:- Apply online for EOE/D/V (Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans).- All offers are pending a background check
