Field Installation Manager

Salary Depends on Experience: $50,000--$100,000Job Schedule: Full TimeJob Category: IT Field Support​ Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field 4+ years full-time satisfactory experience. Review power and communication shop drawings to ensure compliance with Power & Communication Conduit and Wiring Guidelines. Review capital and in-house construction drawings for the installation of communications infrastructure and fare payment equipment and provide comments. Review, and provide technical support for the vendor’s installation of conduit and wires, communication and power equipment, smartcard readers, and vending machines at NYCT’s stations and buses. Conduct Quality Assurance functions and field inspections to ensure all construction work is being performed safely and complies with all NYCT operating policies, procedures and guidelines. Review and provide technical input for all operations and maintenance manuals associated with NFPS. Knowledge of Civil, Electrical, and Communications standards and practices. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access computer applications and programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to work in a team environment. Knowledge of NYCT policies, operations and safety procedures, rules and regulations preferred. Knowledge of NYCT Subway System preferred. Need to travel to project sites located at NYCT stations, bus depots and Railroad location throughout the New York region. Work nights and occasionally on weekends.
