Certified Surgical Technician (CST)-Operating Room (OR)

Join our Periop team today! Under the direct supervision of a board certified surgeon, the surgical tech requires national surgical technician certification within 3 months of completion of program. OR graduation completion from accredited school of nursing and obtaining Practical Nursing licensure in state of Vermont. (LPN) Prior operating room experience (surgical scrub and/or nursing) experience preferred. Requirements: Successful graduation from a national certified surgical technician program required or successful graduation from accredited practical nursing program required, but may work in the OR assisting medical team while actively enrolled in a surgical technician program only. Prior nursing assistant or OR Tech experience preferred CST certification required within 90 days of hire or Vermont State Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma required. BLS required within 90 days
