Senior DevOps Engineer

Description Our client is redefining the B2B banking marketplace through cutting edge user interfaces that deliver a world class user experience. Theirr mission is to help redefine customer engagement for Banks and Credit Unions. You will join a small and motivated team that is on the ground floor of building a platform with access to the largest channel partners and over 4,000 financial institutions. They are looking for a new team member with DevOps experience who will be on the ground floor of building a new platform. This is largely a greenfield opportunity! The right candidate is a Collaborator. Communicator. Integrator. Facilitator between software development and IT professionals. Security enthusiast. Tidy. Organized. Talented. Awesome. What you will responsible for. Design and construct automation around various tasks in the software development life-cycle, and other IT needs Implement meaningful security controls in line with agile practices, devops and SOC2 / PCI requirements Maintain best-practices which enable the delivery of a 100% uptime environment Requirements What you will need for working knowledge. Strong Linux system engineering background (Ubuntu), knowledge of Windows Server a plus Configuration Management experience (Ansible) Hands-on experience in a production cloud IaaS environment (preferably Amazon Web Services), bonus for familiarity with Azure as well Google Cloud Platform Knowledge of how to build a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline that supports business needs (automate build, test pipelines, and deployments with Git, Jenkins, etc.) Hardcore background of hardening of our most critical infrastructure components (from super detailed auditing, integrity checking to confining processes with scale in mind) Experience with a microservices architecture Familiar with high-level networking concepts including Layer 3 connectivity and VPN tunnels Proven track record of implementing security best practices and internal security training program Think critically and are ready to challenge the status quo in a constructive way Have strong English communication skills, both spoken and written Ability to work collaboratively and to communicate technical concepts clearly and accurately Our Tech Stack.
