Amentum seeks to fill a Geospatial Science Intern position within the JETS II Science and Exploration Department with University of Nevada Las Vegas, a subcontractor company. This candidate must reside or be willing to relocate to Houston, TX for on-site work requirements at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. The approximate dates for this internship are May 18 – August 14, 2026. This is a temporary role not to exceed 14 weeks. The Geospatial Science Intern will: Work with a team of geosciences and computer scientists to analyze features of the lunar surface Assist in developing workflows for processing and georeferencing lunar satellite imagery Work with a variety of lunar datasets to asses crater and boulder distributions
