Experienced Commercial Door Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Door Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial doors, docks, and gates. This includes high-speed doors, rolling steel doors, and all dock equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all door systems are functioning properly and meeting safety standards. Key Responsibilities include: • Diagnosing and resolving door-related issues • Performing routine inspections, and collaborating with clients to understand their specific needs • The position requires excellent problem-solving skills, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team Qualifications include • Prior experience in commercial door installation and repair • Proficiency with hand and power tools, • A solid understanding of industry codes and regulations. • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential. Responsibilities: • Create notes, quotes, and invoices using software • Calculate installation openings and perform site inspections for larger jobs • Attend meetings, follow all company policies, and participate in decision-making • Attend appointments within the window that has been given to the client Qualifications: • You must have excellent customer service skills for this position • Good understanding with the wiring and connections used in electrical systems • Ability to use a measuring tape, as well as proficiency in math and problem-solving, are essential • Must have 3-5 years of commercial technician experience • Must have class C driver's license Compensation: $30 - $40 per hour•
