Benefits:Company carCompetitive salaryDental insurancePaid time offWe are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Service HVAC Technician with extensive hands-on experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing complex commercial HVAC systems. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can independently manage service calls, troubleshoot advanced system issues, and deliver high-quality workmanship in commercial environments.Primary ResponsibilitiesIndependently diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, VAV systems, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and exhaust systemsPerform advanced troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control system issuesExecute preventative maintenance programs, identify potential failures, and recommend corrective actionsRead, interpret, and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and sequence-of-operation documentsTest, calibrate, and adjust HVAC controls, sensors, and safety devicesRespond to service calls efficiently, prioritize workload, and manage time effectively in the fieldCommunicate clearly with customers regarding system conditions, repair needs, and preventative recommendationsEnsure all work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standardsComplete accurate service documentation, work orders, and reports using mobile or written systemsMaintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in professional working conditionCollaborate with dispatch, management, and other technicians when needed to resolve complex system issuesParticipate in on-call rotation as requiredRequired Qualifications5–10 years of commercial HVAC service experienceProven ability to work independently on complex commercial systemsStrong understanding of HVAC electrical systems, controls, and refrigeration cyclesEPA Universal Certification (required)Valid driver’s license with clean driving recordStrong troubleshooting, organizational, and customer service skillsPreferred QualificationsHVAC trade school or technical certificationExperience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)OSHA certificationChiller and boiler service experience
