As a Senior Subcontract Administrator for Life Sciences North America, you will be responsible for contracting standard to complex professional and/or construction services. The Senior Subcontract Administrator may act as lead on small Projects (Projects with a Total Installed Cost of $50M, or less) while using best practices and knowledge of requirements to solve basic problems and handle day-to-day Subcontracting tasks with minimal guidance and direction.Leverage your passion and experience as you effectively and professionally conduct and coordinate procurement transactions associated with subcontracting of services as assigned. The Subcontract Administrator demonstrates thorough knowledge and understanding of procurement concepts, principles and practices, and the techniques of ensuring task completion. They completely understand the role of procurement and its integration with other project functions, accomplishes value-added expectations, and performs assignments in accordance with established policies and procedures.The Senior Subcontract Administrator reports directly to the Manager of Procurement Services (MOPS) for the office which they are assigned. While supporting Jacobs’ Projects, the Subcontract Administrator will report indirectly to the assigned Project Procurement Manager (PPM), Project Manager or Construction Manager.Bring your curiosity, passion for innovation, and talent for multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and we will help you grow, pursue and fulfill what inspires you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together!• Bachelor’s degree in business, construction, supply chain, or operations management, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree• 8+ years of experience in subcontracting and contract management, with specific experience in working on medium to large projects in the EPCM Industry.• 3+ years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects preferred• Management of critical subcontract packages along with the potential oversight of junior to mid-level Subcontract Administrators.• The ability to lead a small team of Subcontracts professionals, including providing day-to-day training, teaching and mentoring.Please note: This position is Onsite Role 100% onsite or in the office.Ideally you'll also have:• Masters degree in a business, construction, supply chain, or operations management, but not required• Experience in subcontracting for pharmaceutical plants• Certification from the National Contract Management Association (or other international equivalent) is a plus• Registered as CPCM, CCCM, or CCFM would be nice• Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• The ability to work and thrive in a team environment• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills• A drive to solve complex and challenging problems.• Willingness to indirectly lead and mentor a team of Subcontract Administration professionals#LifeSciences, #Bio/Pharma, #EPCMV, #globallifescience#LI-SH1Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
