Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 03/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity:Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details:• Work 4 x 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM• Every third weekend or less on-call requirement• Average 1-2 call days per week and 1 weekend per month with 30-minute response time• Holidays are on-call only, otherwise off• Hospital-issued surgical attire provided• Radiation badge required - facility does not supply or track, traveler must have prior to starting• Required certifications: ACLS, ARRT, BLS, and Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI Verification• Must hold Washington DOH CVIS or RT license• Handle 25-30 cases per day on average in 6 suites/labs• Work with EPIC, MACLAB, PYXIS, GE IMAGING, CARTO, and ABBOTT EP equipment• Perform left and right heart catheterizations, complex PCI, IMPELLA and IABP, electrophysiology, structural heart procedures (TAVR, WATCHMAN), interventional radiology, and peripheral vascular procedures• Floor-specific orientation less than 1 week if competent• Floating only in emergency response situations• Work in busy multimodality lab with daily staffing of 14 techs and 7 RNs Facility:This healthcare facility features a state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratory within a beautiful brand-new campus that opened in December 2020. The facility operates a busy multimodality lab with comprehensive cardiac services and has expanded services due to growth rather than staff turnover. The organization maintains 24/7 cardiologist on-call coverage, RT and pharmacy support, and has a welcoming team environment that embraces traveling professionals.
