QA Automation Engineer

Duration: 6+ Months We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of modern software systems. This role focuses on test automation, CI/CD integration, and Agile collaboration, with strong hands-on ownership of end-to-end and API testing. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks. Develop and execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, and performance coverage. Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Perform API testing and validation of backend services. Implement end-to-end testing with Playwright for web applications. Analyse test results, report defects, and partner with engineering to resolve issues. Collaborate within Agile teams and participate in sprint ceremonies. Mentor junior QA engineers and promote quality best practices. Required skills: Must have 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and test automation. Proficiency in Java, Python, and Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript). Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins. Expertise in API testing and automation. Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of Kafka for messaging and streaming applications. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
