Delivery Driver

Delivery Drivers must be 18 years or older, possess a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and have a clean driving record with a minimum of two years of experience as a licensed driver. Delivery Drivers assist with order taking, sandwich making, food prep, and maintaining restaurant cleanliness in addition to delivering orders Freaky Fast and Freaky Safe. Starting Pay & Incentives: Begin at $10.50 per hour, with a guaranteed $0.50 raise after completing driver training and 90 days of employment. Our Rockstar Delivery Drivers can average $25 per hour or more, including tips and daily-paid mileage reimbursements! Prefer only working nights and weekends? You'll also earn an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for those hours! Night's consist of working daily from 4pm until close. Additionally it must be your primary shift. However we will acceptall availability.Additional Requirements: • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts • Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift • Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F •To be considered for a delivery position all applicants must agree to a motor vehicle records pull. If the applicant does not meet our guidelines for being a delivery driver, we reserve the right to not offer employment.Training Introduction At Jimmy John's, we use a blended training approach to build the knowledge and skills for you to be successful in your role. We use Managers and in-store trainers, called Brand Ambassadors, to provide you hip-to-hip training on how to perform each task at a JJ's and we also use FAST TRACK, which is our Learning Management System (LMS) that provides you e-learning courses, job aids and other operational tools to reference, on your pathway to becoming a JJ ROCKSTAR. Blending hands by learning with computer-based instruction gets you ready to rock your first 30 days at JJ's.
