About Us: At MBM,Inc we are dedicated to supporting the mental health and well being of Black mothers. We are looking for a creative, mission-driven storyteller to help us amplify our impact and engage our community across Facebook and Instagram. The Role: As our Social Media Intern, you won't just be posting pictures; you’ll be building a movement. This role is perfect for a student or career-changer looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit digital strategy. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation: Design eye-catching graphics using Canva and write compelling copy that aligns with our brand voice. Scheduling: Manage our content calendar and use tools like Buffer to ensure a consistent presence. Engagement: Monitor comments and messages to foster a vibrant online community. Impact Reporting: Track basic analytics to see what’s working and help us grow our reach. Who You Are: You are a self-starter who is coachable and thrives in a team environment. You have strong writing skills and a knack for visual design. You are passionate about mental health advocacy for Black women. Must have completed course work in marketing, advertising, graphic design, or related topics Looking to develop social media skills and gain experience What You’ll Gain: Mentorship in nonprofit marketing and digital strategy. Portfolio-building opportunities (you will own specific campaigns). A flexible schedule of 5-10 hours per week.
