Data Center Leasing Site Selection Manager

We are currently seeking a highly experienced, organized, and collaborative Site Selection Manager focused on Leasing to join our Data Center Site Selection team. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in negotiating large-scale leasing deals and a deep understanding of the legal agreements involved. Key Responsibilities: Lead negotiations for data center acquisitions and lease contracts. Conduct technical due diligence to assess site viability related to energy, land, and other factors. Manage supplier relationships and uphold best practices in leasing. Analyze market conditions and develop innovative lease site selection strategies. Stay updated on technical, market, and regulatory trends in the data center industry. Contribute to organizational strategy and establish leasing standards at Meta. Willingness to travel domestically as required (10-25% of the time). Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, environmental science, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in facilitating, evaluating, or managing data center capacity projects. Proven track record in leading large-scale data center lease negotiations. Extensive experience working with detailed financial models for data center projects, assessing key risks, and conducting due diligence across financial, commercial, technical, and development areas. Ability to collaborate effectively with teams in legal, compliance, finance, and accounting. Experience representing business interests to leadership teams of suppliers, strategic markets, energy providers, and other stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills. Adept at synthesizing complex commercial, regulatory, market, and contractual information for various organizational levels. Demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Proficient in standard document and analytics platforms. Successful history of building and managing effective leasing programs. Familiarity with various lease structures (e.g., Modified Gross, NNN, YoC). Compensation: Annual salary ranges from $160,000 to $232,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
