Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and mission-focused Senior Knowledge Manager to lead the development, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise-level knowledge management (KM) capabilities in support of the U.S. Army Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2 (DCS, G-2), Directorate of Strategy & Transformation (DAMI-ST). This role is critical to enabling strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and institutional learning across the Army Intelligence enterprise. The Senior KM will work closely with Army stakeholders to design and optimize KM frameworks, tools, and processes that align with Army policies, doctrine, and digital modernization efforts. The candidate will serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring that knowledge assets are captured, curated, and shared effectively across classified and unclassified environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of enterprise-wide KM strategies that align with Army G-2 transformation objectives and mission priorities. Create and oversee processes for DAMI-ST to capture, store, organize, and share valuable information and expertise across classified and unclassified environments. Ensure the Army G-2 has timely access to mission-critical knowledge through intuitive, executive-level user interfaces that enable rapid consumption of status updates, operational insights, and strategic situational awareness-supporting informed decision-making, enhanced efficiency, innovation, and alignment with strategic objectives. Coordinate with DAMI-ST leadership and staff sections to capture, organize, and disseminate critical institutional knowledge. Deliver mission-critical knowledge to Army G-2 leadership through user-friendly, executive-level platforms (e.g., Confluence, ServiceNow, Amazon Kendra) that provide real-time situational awareness, operational insights, and strategic decision support. Manage the full lifecycle of organizational knowledge-including collection, storage, retrieval, and disposition-in accordance with Army KM policy, cybersecurity standards, and data governance requirements. Identify and eliminate knowledge gaps through workflow analysis, best practice documentation, and lessons learned integration for increase efficiency. Develop and enforce KM governance frameworks, including metadata standards, taxonomy, and content lifecycle management. Facilitate communities of practice, training sessions, and KM workshops to promote adoption and continuous learning. Prepare executive-level presentations, decision papers, and correspondence to communicate KM initiatives, performance metrics, and strategic recommendations. Coordinate across diverse teams, divisions, and organizations to ensure KM efforts are integrated with intelligence systems, modernization initiatives, and enterprise IT strategies. Monitor and report on KM effectiveness, including usage analytics, user engagement, and system performance, to inform continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Requires eligibility for a DoD TS/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Management, Communications, or a related field, with 10+ years of professional experience in knowledge management, information systems, or enterprise support. Strong understanding of the Intelligence Community (IC) and familiarity with key Army KM and information management policies, including FM 6-01.1 (Knowledge Management Operations), AR 25-1 (Army Information Management), and Army Data Strategy principles. Experience supporting government contracts within the defense or intelligence community, with a demonstrated ability to operate effectively in classified environments. Proven ability to translate senior leader intent into actionable KM initiatives that align with strategic objectives and operational priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing and delivering executive-level briefings, decision papers, and strategic correspondence. Experience collaborating with joint, interagency, and multinational partners to support strategic and operational planning efforts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with enterprise KM platforms such as Atlassian Confluence, ServiceNow Knowledge Management, and Amazon Kendra-with a focus on delivering intuitive, executive-level user interfaces for situational awareness and decision support. Ability to multitask in a high-paced, mission-driven environment, managing competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality. Demonstrated experience in workflow analysis, knowledge lifecycle management, and lessons learned integration in alignment with Army KM and cybersecurity standards. Desired Qualifications Master's degree in Knowledge Management, Information Systems, Organizational Development, Library and Information Science, or a related field. Professional KM certification such as Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM), Knowledge Management Professional (KMP), or Certified Professional Knowledge Manager (CPKM®). Prior experience supporting Army Headquarters (HQDA G-2), Executive or Headquarters Staff level support, or a Combatant Command J-2, with a strong understanding of military intelligence operations and organizational structures - or equivalent experience in industry or government roles involving strategic intelligence support, enterprise-level knowledge management, or senior executive coordination. Familiarity with enterprise KM platforms (e.g., SharePoint, ServiceNow, Confluence) and KM governance frameworks aligned with Army KM policy and cybersecurity standards. Demonstrated ability to lead KM initiatives that support strategic transformation, decision-making, and situational awareness for senior military officials. Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-level presentations, decision papers, and strategic correspondence.
