Unarmed Security Guard

PositionOverview: The Unarmed Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secureenvironment by deterring criminal activity, enforcing policies, and providingassistance to employees, visitors, and clients. This role requiresprofessionalism, attentiveness, and strong communication skills. KeyResponsibilities: Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of property Monitor entrances/exits and maintain visitor access logs Provide a visible security presence to deter unauthorized activity Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies according to company procedures Document observations, incidents, and daily activities in written reports Identify safety hazards and escalate issues when necessary Assist employees, visitors, and clients courteously and professionally Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Valid security guard license/registration (state requirement) Previous security, law enforcement, or military background preferred Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations Excellent observational and problem-solving skills Physical ability to patrol and stand for extended periods WorkConditions: May include indoor/outdoor assignments Shifts may vary (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
