Job Full Description Express Employment is currently looking for folks who are mechanically-inclined to be Press Adjusters. We're looking for people who could do this right off the bat, or could be trained to do so. Would need some background mechanical experience. Position Summary An Industrial Mechanic to maintain a state-of-the-art, food can-manufacturing line. A strong work ethic and related experience in a manufacturing environment are required. Essential Job Function Setup, adjust, TPM, and operate production and auxiliary equipment. Sound industrial mechanical experience. Adhere to all safety regulations and report any hazards that may compromise a safe workplace. A full mechanic's tool set, including micrometers. The ability to work in close tolerances up to .00010". Work closely with supervision and fellow employees on improvement teams to uncover and implement safety, quality, productivity and cost control advancements. Job Requirements EDUCATION: High School Diploma or completion of an equivalent technical training program. EXPERIENCE: 5 years. REQUIRED SKILLS: A proven industrial mechanical background in can manufacturing or a similar metal fabricating environment. PREFERRED SKILLS: Mechanical Experience. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, climb, walk, & lift up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis. Good vision capabilities and good communication skills. Schedule: 1st shift, 2nd shift, and 3rd shift (overnight) opportunities are available! 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts are available We have full time, long term, and temporary positions available!
