Education Necessary Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Required ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within a year of hire. Maintain an up-to-date certification throughout your tenure. Skills Required Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with health care teams.
