Educational Requirements A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent degree in allied health, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certification Essentials ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment. Maintain up-to-date certification throughout your tenure with us.
