Immediate Registered Respiratory Therapist travel contract opportunity in Hyannis, MA. Pay Rate: $2,533.00 weekly travel pay package Available Work Schedule: 7:00pm - 7:00am (Nights) 3x12 - 36 hours per week guaranteed E/O Weekend, E/O Holiday Contract Details: 13 week contract (possible extension) Start Date: March 2nd Job Details: Identifies acute and chronic cardiopulmonary dysfunction. Initiate and provide ventilatory support. Recommend appropriate ventilator settings, use lung protective strategies, appropriately wean the patient, monitor/troubleshoot the ventilator. Use best practice and follow approved Therapist driven protocols, procedures, and department policies. Perform diagnostic procedures such as ABG draws and sputum specimen collection. Interpret ABG's. Perform bedside spirometry. Perform capnography. Perform other work-related duties as requested/assigned Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Massachusetts state licensure in Respiratory Therapy. Current BLS certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Minimum one-year critical care experience preferred.
