They offer a smaller company feel with a close-knit culture and are looking to add to their engineering team Job Description Quotation & Estimating: Review customer drawings/RFQs, determine required processes (CNC, welding, finishing), estimate machine hours, labor, and material costs. Cost Analysis: Calculate overhead, profit margins, and total landed costs to provide competitive pricing. Process Optimization: Identify cost-effective methods, suggest design improvements for manufacturability (DFM), and reduce waste. Collaboration: Work with sales (pricing), production (scheduling/feasibility), and management (operational excellence). Documentation: Create Bill of Estimates (BOE), track costs, and maintain cost models. Work within various Costing Software/ERP proficiency.
