CO - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Description: • Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist • Location: Respiratory Therapy Department at the Hospital • Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Nights • Signing Bonus: Up to $10,000 Sign on BonusResponsibilities: • Perform quality respiratory care, cardiopulmonary, and neuro-diagnostics. • Provide respiratory therapy treatments: oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, IPPB, chest physiotherapy, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, sputum induction. • Conduct cardio-pulmonary diagnostics: ECGs, cardiac stress testing, Lexiscan, dypridimal, dobutamine, stress echocardiogram, tilt test, holter scanning, PFT, ABG sampling and analysis, bronchoscopy assistance, EEGs, home sleep studies, and nocturnal oximetry. • Document patient records per departmental standards. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's Degree preferred). • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience. • Current BLS certification. ACLS required within 6 months of employment. • Current, unrestricted Colorado license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. • CRT required, RRT within 2 years, NRP preferred. Compensation: • Pay range: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. • Discretionary bonuses, relocation expenses, merit increases, market adjustments, recognition bonuses, and other forms of discretionary compensation may be available.
