Physical Therapist

Nature and ScopeThe Physical Therapist (PT) will provide/coordinate services for our acute/swing bed patients in the hospital setting as well as in our outpatient settings. The PT needs ability to modify and/or adapt treatment techniques to improve outcomes, provision of assessment and evidence-based treatments, skills in the wide range of basic evaluation instruments, participation in PI/QA programs, participation in departmental meetings, supervision of PTA/aid, as needed, and participation in promoting occupational therapy to the hospital, community, local and outside referrals/providers.LocationWe are located 2077 E. Main Street Quincy, CA 95971 and 127 Crescent St C, Greenville, CA 95947. You will be traveling between both offices. CompensationCompensation Philosophy: We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experienceCompensation Range:-/ hour Sign on Bonus:,000.00Housing Stipend: We provide three months of paid housing or,200.00 / month housing stipend for the first three months of employment. Minimum Qualifications: Required and/or PreferredEducationBachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy required. A master degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution, passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE). Compliant with state regulatory requirements. Must hold valid license from Physical Therapy Board of California. A valid BLS for healthcare provider certification, approved by the American Heart Association.Experience Acute skilled nursing or outpatient settings preferred. 2 to 3 years' experience as a physical therapist experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Compassionate and attentive to detail. Possess up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices .Ability to solve problems independently. Excellent analytical and logical thinking.Responsibilities Assist the physician in evaluating patients by applying diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests. Treats patients to relieve pain and/or develop or restore function to maintain maximum performance. Records and reports to the physician the patient's reaction to treatment and/or any changes in the patient's condition.
