Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new personnel or students, and help maintain laboratory quality standards. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a related healthcare field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certification Expectations Obtain ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire. Maintain an active certification throughout employment. Skills Needed Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the entire healthcare team. Adept in making independent judgments and solving problems in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
