Float LPN-Alpharetta

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) ExecuSource is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) that is looking for an opportunity to work at the largest allergy practice in Georgia. This is a Contract to Hire position based in Alpharetta but will be floating to any of the clinic locations that are in need. Monday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Tuesday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Wednesday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Thursday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Office Closes from 12 to 1 for LunchDuties: Assist the physician as instructed with patient care during office visits. Perform diagnostic procedures, such as skin testing, and pulmonary function testing. Administer immunotherapy injections and maintain extract and records of treatment. Treat emergency and priority patients, including the use of CPR, if necessary. Assist the physician with patients by telephone, including instructions to sick patients and prescription refills. Assist in management and treatment of reactions which occur secondary to immunotherapy. Maintain an aseptic environment appropriate for medical office. Educate patients on their physical condition, treatment plan, use of equipment and medication delivery devices, environmental controls, and any other issues which may affect the patient's care. Requirements: 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse Prefer one year of previous employment in a medical office/outpatient setting Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with clinic health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices Excellent knowledge of medical terminology What We Offer: Competitive pay $28-31/hr (Based on experience) Including stipend while traveling to other offices A supportive work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development #HC123
